Monster Alphabets on Etsy!

Mum and I admired the Monster Alphabets clothing at the Upmarket on Sunday, especially their capes! They were just a little bit different and I tried to think of excuses to wear one. It was just a little crowded at the market though and we moved on as they had many admirers.

Monster Alphabets now have an Etsy store where you can buy yourself a gorgeous cape. The fabric looks nice and heavy and they would be a lovely addition to the wardrobe. Monster Alphabets have only a few items up as yet and I am keen to see what the future holds.

The Monster Alphabet flower that I purchased was the only crafted item that I bought from the Upmarket this time. I thought it was so pretty that I had to buy it!

Addressing the issues

I ordered some address labels for my Christmas cards a few years ago. I thought that they would look nice and more importantly would save me from writing my return address on every single envelope! I ended up with a pack of a thousand so enough to last for many years.

These will do until we move house, but once C and I are married and have moved into our new house we will need to update. I could either order some more labels or find something more stylish.

There are many designs out there, here are a few to excite the interest.

Stylish scarves

This stylish neck art is made by Perth seller PLUmFISh.

I do love the different textures and the variety of clours and shades that she uses. Winter is coming (according to my calendar) and these would pieces would stand out over the drab black that is so prevalent.

Precious Jewels

Local Perth seller Killer Jewels has some lovely pieces. Handmade resin flowers and Swarovski crystals are a theme through most of the collection and you can find many a striking pretty statement piece.

Inuk sneak preview

I ordered a couple of items from Inuk Designs and they arrived yesterday. I was so excited to receive them. They were both wrapped in tissue paper and placed into a lovely cloth bag! The items are organic cotton with a hand stitched detail.

Both items are gifts so I will post photos once they have been received. For now, enjoy the packaging.

The PostPak bag that they were posted in was made of 100% recycled paper, another nice touch.

More cool tees!

I really love kids tees and onesies with appliqued cuties on the front! Local Perth seller Inuk Designs makes these beautiful tees from bamboo, organic cotton and upcycled materials. You can purchase locally and know that the fabrics are prepared in a sustainable manner.

Funky Jewellery and Prints

These funky pieces and prints are by adopted Perth artist lesadraws. I love the cassette earrings, and she also has a cassette necklace if you want to coordinate!

Teddy

This little fellow is super cute! Snuggle's fur is alpaca and sure to be extra soft. Snuggle and his den mates are made by Bare Cub Designs here in Perth. You can purchase bears as well as patterns to make your own!

Sweet felt

These tasty treats are handmade by Little Fluff Stuff. The felt is all made of 100% recycled post-consumer water bottles, so you can enjoy the cuteness and feel that you are helping the earth by reusing waste.

Robot Matroyshka

Etsy seller Jackie Koehler has these adorable robot Matroyshka dolls for sale. I love the different colours and the quirky facial expressions.

chrysalis kid designs

I learnt recently that one of C's friends makes pretty things and has her own Etsy store!

The shop is chrysalis kid designs, and she uses a mixture of old and new materials for her creations. Her descriptions are so poetic as well, makes me wish that I had such a way with words!

These buttons are lovely, the detail is exquisite.

Retrobub love

The onesie that I bought from Retrobub arrived today, shoved into my mailbox! Luckily it is cloth and could handling being squashed. It is so adorable. I love the bright fabrics and cute animals that are the signature of the retrobub style.

I first spied Retrobub at the Sunday Arts Market at the Arts Centre in Melbourne when I visited in November. Thankfully you can also purchase the clothes through Etsy!
